beautiful local waterfall. Amenities provided included parking, bathrooms and the all too important trash cans. There are plenty of places to wander and other falls in the area to explore. Worth the trip on a nice day.
A nice little walk to the fall
I visited the Pocono for the weekend with my spouse. The fall is only a quarter mile walk from the parking. The ranger and the staff at information center are very friendly. The wooden paving is well maintained and not too crowded. We also decided to go up the steps to the top of the falls. It is cute excursion not very stressful and nice location. It was much cooler and shaded all the way. It doesn't take more than a hour without kids.
Nice walk from the visitor center that is wheelchair friendly and not on the forest floor for the most part. Two sets of falls with the Silver Thread falls and the Dingmans falls at the end of the trail. You can take about 3000 steps to the top of the falls, but it isn't worth the effort if you are physically challenged in any way. The walk to the falls is easy enough and that's all you need.
Really nice jem, we stopped here was walked to the falls. The path is a wooden walk way and very nice little hike to 2 amazing waterfalls.
Great place to hike. Easy trails, most with stairs. Nice in the winter.
